How often do you check their online activities?

As Slawek Szefs reports, the statistical child spends 3 and a half hours daily on various web activities. Some 40 percent of young Internet users remain permanently online. Relevant studies show alarming indifference or inability of elders to exercise effective control over their youngsters’ net whereabouts.

"Over 50 percent of young people have stated that parents show no interest in their web activity. Also, close to 25 percent of the surveyed admitted their parents made some inquiries but they lack technical competence to assess or even monitor these online activities,” Agnieszka Wronska from the Scientific and Academic Computer Network (NASK) told Polish Radio.
