Looking for fresh business opportunities Polish firms have been scouting not only in Europe but also eyeing Asian countries.

As Slawek Szefs reports, among that group, Kazakhstan seems to be a very promising market.
"The state as a whole and respective Kazakh ministries are open to foreign business and investors. The authorities are trying to work out beneficial tax solutions and it must be remembered that VAT in Kazakhstan is only 12 percent,” Luba Grigoriewa from Consus Kazakhstan, a Polish but Astana-based company dealing in the creation of environmental protection strategy for enterprises, told Polish Radio.
