Polish graduates ill-equipped for competitive economy?
Voices can frequently be heard from Polish employers complaining about the inability of fresh university and college graduates to satisfy expectations of a modern, highly competitive economy.

As Sławek Szefs reports, employers' organisations also stress that this deficiency is not solely the fault of the young diploma holders but results from outdated curricula offered by some academic centres.
"Though the last few years have witnessed a dynamic development of the educational process at schools of higher learning, their graduates are not trained in specialist fields which are currently in demand," says Jacek Brzozowski, advisor to the President of the Polish Employers Federation.
