10 April marks the anniversary of the plane crash that killed 96 people including prominent figures of the Polish political elite.

Among the victims were Poland's president Lech Kaczyński and First Lady Maria. The plane crashed in dense fog several hundred meters short of the runway in Smolensk, western Russia.
