Poland’s political circles are reaping the whirlwind of social discontent, as the youngest voters have called for change, Alicja Baczyńska reports.

While pundits are divided whether the political career of the twentysomethings’ representative on the arena, Paweł Kukiz, will prove long-standing, some claim the emergence of the controversial political novice could ‘spell game’ over for an era in Polish politics.

"First, the post-communists are politically dead, but there are other parties which are dead, too, and these parties belong to the right wing of the Polish political scene, Civic Platform and Law and Justice," says political scientist Wojciech Jabłoński, from the University of Warsaw. "They are too weak to rule Poland.”
