All this due to massive poisoning in the southern city of Katowice over the weekend. As Michał Owczarek reports, this was most probably caused by a substance including synthetic cannabinoid 800 times stronger than in natural drugs. In reaction to the incident the Polish government has already announced a crackdown on producers and distributors of designer drugs.
"We’ll be calling for some massive civic involvement but we’ll also be busy monitoring the ongoing country-wide combat on designer drugs", Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said.
