  • Debunking Ukrainian reporting myths
Fake it till you make it? Not necessarily - a group of Ukrainian journalists set out on a mission to debunk what they call "myths about their country."

Tetiana Matychak is a co-founder and editor of STOPFAKE.ORG, a Ukrainian fact-checking website launched last year by alumni and students of Mohyla School of Journalism in Kiev.

"Our website was created when the crisis in Crimea started and the Russian soldiers appeared in Crimea. Russian media told us there were no Russian troops in Crimea while Ukrainian journalists and Crimeans said that there were. So we decided to debunk this fake" Tetiana said explaining the originis of the website. Danuta Isler spoke to Tetiana to find out about whether they have ever debunked fake news about Ukraine coming from Poland, and much more!"

If you know of what you think is a fake news material on Ukraine or simply want to reach Tetiana, go to stopfake.org/en.
