How the new government plans to boost Poland’s economy

While some politicians and experts argued that Szydło's speech was short and solid, others branded it as lacking substance.

The new prime minister reiterated her flagship election promises, including lowering the retirement age and increased child benefits.

She also pledged that Poland will invest PLN 1 trillion (USD 250 billion) in “economic development projects.”

“Beata Szydło formulated many economic and development goals, said Professor Andrzej Zybała of the Warsaw School of Economics, in an interview with Radio Poland’s Agnieszka Łaszczuk.

What is interesting is that they want to include long-term factors in running the economy,“ the economist added.
