Is Poland willing to reduce emissions?
The UN climate summit, COP21, has officially opened in Paris. Poland’s PM Beata Szydło is meeting with the leaders of over 140 countries, to tackle climate change.

On Sunday Polish PM Beata Szydło said she would like the attendees of COP21 to reach an agreement in Paris, but the deal must not hurt Poland’s economy.
“If we keep on building new coal power plants, we will have to import coal,” Tobiasz Adamczewski of the Polish Climate Coalition said in an interview with Radio Poland’s Agnieszka Łaszczuk.
“We need to start investing in renewable energy, so that we ensure our energy independence,” the expert added.
