Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło was in Budapest on Monday to discuss the migration crisis and regional cooperation with her Hungarian counterpart.

Agnieszka Łaszczuk reports on the outcome of the visit.

“We agreed with Prime Minister Szydło that in the next few years we will further strengthen cooperation within the Visegrad Group,” Hungarian Prime Minister Orban said at a joint press conference.

Csaba Toth, director of the Republikon Institute, based in Budapest, said: “I think this is demonstrating solidarity, and demonstrating an alliance against Brussels or against Western European opinion in general.”
