Polish President to attend Munich Security Conference

European security pillars and the presence of NATO's troops in the regions of conflict will be the main subjects of a speech to be delivered on Saturday by the Polish President at the Munich Conference.

As Michał Owczarek reports, the speech is supposed to relate to the enhanced NATO presence on the eastern flank and the forthcoming Alliance’s summit in Warsaw.

“It [the conference] is a forum for dialogue. The conference’s motto speaks for itself “Peace through dialogue”. The meeting serves as a forum for presenting one’s viewpoint,” said Tomasz Smura of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, an independent Polish think tank.
