Misteria Paschalia, the festival of early music, celebrates the Holy Week and Easter with often forgotten, lost and rediscovered works of early masters.
The festival opened on Monday with Joseph Haydn's “The Seven Last Words of Christ” performed by Le Concert des Nations orchestra under the baton of outstanding Catalonian conductor Jordi Savall.
