Launched in 2014 by PM Narendra Modi it aims to make India 'the best place to invest in the world' by offering a plethora of incentives, including tax breaks, government subsidies and simplification of the country's laws.
India is reportedly 2nd most competitive nation in the world. Inflation is currently there at its lowest while FDI has reportedly grown by over 30% since PM Modi took office.
During his visit to Mumbai deputy PM Glinski also invited PM Modi to pay a state visit to Poland. No Indian prime minister has visited Poland since Morarji Desai in 1979.
