The new project, to be located in the town of Jawor in the Lower Silesian region, will be Mercedes-Benz’s first in this country.

As Michał Owczarek reports, the prospective factory will produce 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines for passenger cars and create about 700 new jobs.

“This shows that Poland provides favourable business environment for multinational companies, which helps create a few hundred new jobs for Polish citizens,” said Rafał Bochenek, the spokesperson for the Polish government.
