NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg reiterated the defensive character of the Alliance's plans for Eastern Europe during a pre-summit visit to Warsaw.

Sławek Szefs reports that his talks with top Polish politicians concerned preparations for the Warsaw summit in July, as well as NATO's eastern flank strategy and the participation of Polish soldiers in a range of military exercises and missions.
“NATO is responding, […] implementing the biggest reinforcement for our collective defence since the end of the Cold War,” said Stoltenberg after meeting Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda.
