The Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw offers hundreds of interactive exhibits displayed within an area of 20,000 square meters, Danusia Isler reports.
The latest addition to the Centre is Planetarium called "Copernicus Heavens". It includes a stellar spherical projector - the only such screen in Poland composed of a hundred elements it is to give visitors an illusion of being immersed in reality.
There are two more places connected with Nicholas Copernicus in the north-eastern city of Olsztyn - its Astronomical Observatory which offers a magnificent panorama of the city and the Olsztyn Planetarium built as a tribute to Poland’s most famous astronomer on his 500th birthday.
