The Catholic church had a great impact on Polish history, ever since the baptism of Poland a 1,050 years ago. The World youth Days is a great opportunity for the pilgrims to learn more about Poland's Christian traditions.

Huber Wajs, the head of the archives talked about the role of priests in Poland’s history, but he also pointed out that “from the 14th century on, Poland was not monolithic in terms of denomination.” There are a lot of exhibits in the archives showing Polish tolerance for different religions, through the ages.
