The cycling gnome travelling from Wrocław to Aarhus
Wrocław is the city of gnomes. You'll find them popping up everywhere, even in the most unlikely of places. Wrocław is also a city of bicycles... and this year the capital of Lower Silesia is basking in the limelight as a European Capital of Culture.

That was the reason for a visit by a cycling delegation from Aarhus in Denmark, preparing to take over as Culture Capital in 2017.
After a trip of more than 1,300 kilometres, representatives of Aarhus, who included Deputy President Anna Nygaard, devoted some of their short time in Wrocław to sharing the experiences of a town that is bicycle-friendly. Going back, the group of 40 had an additional member.
