The main focus of the meeting - organised in the run-up to an informal EU summit in Bratislava in mid-September - was Brexit and its implications for Europe.
Polish PM Beata Szydło told a press conference that Warsaw wants to take active part in the changing alignment of forces in the EU, and Poland wants the EU to be strong.
She said: “The most important task is for the EU to remain a strong entity, guaranteeing security for its citizens. To Poland, the EU is exceedingly important and we want the other countries which make up the Union - which want to build a common European future - to become even closer, and cooperate even more strongly. Above all so that we can pursue common objectives together.”
