Sławek Szefs reports that the major change will concern so-called employer statements, which serve as an initial invitation of a given person to work for a specific Polish company or enterprise.

"We have created a system whereby a statement by the employer serves as the basis for obtaining a visa, however, these documents are not placed in a central register and employers have been handing out the statements without any limitation,” Jacek Piechota, chairman of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, told Polish Radio.

“On the other hand, many employers have been complaining that their statements are falsified or duplicated in Ukraine and are subject to exchange for money,” Piechota added.
