Poles urged to go electric

An unusual exhibition has been mounted on the parking lot of the Ministry for Development in Warsaw.

Sławek Szefs reports that a collection of 22 electric and low-emission vehicles of all types has been put on public display. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the benefits of this kind of eco-friendly commuting.

"There is a sizeable group of customers willing to buy such cars because they don't mind the prospect of covering some 300km or 400km and then having to recharge the car overnight at home,” says Jakub Faryś, president of the Polish Automotive Industry Association.
