The market is now estimated to be worth almost EUR 4 billion, and according to the report it will grow to almost EUR 4.7 billion in 2020.
The number of “high-net-worth” individuals in Poland whose investible assets, such as stocks and bonds exceeding USD 1 million is estimated at 41,000. Therefore, compared to other countries, this is not a large number.
Tomasz Wiśniewski, a co-author of the KPMG report, said that “obviously, the Polish economy is still developing”, adding that Poland’s luxury goods market “cannot be directly compared to that of Western countries”.
