Earlier this month, Poland’s state-run office for foreign investment acquired its new official name: the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Expanding its objectives, the organisation will focus on two main issues: servicing investors in Poland and supporting Polish companies in expanding abroad.

But will this bring a dramatic change in the number of foreign investment projects in this country or a boost in Polish projects launched abroad?

To find out, Michał Owczarek talked to the agency’s President of the Board, Tomasz Pisula.

“We figured that if we have limited resources, we’d rather shift them to markets [where Polish entrepreneurs] need assistance such as Latin America, Africa and south-east Asia,” Pisula said.
