One in four Polish companies are victims of cyberattacks

Cyberattacks on critical infrastructure is not solely a problem for governments with a quarter of all Polish companies falling victim to hackers.

The private sector in Poland is increasingly becoming a direct or indirect target of cyberattacks and is bearing huge economic losses.
As Michał Owczarek reports, cybersecurity in business is on the agenda of a Wednesday conference in Kraków.
“Business people are particularly targeted,” said Stanisław Bisztyga, who heads the conference.
“Data shows that every fourth Polish company has reported a breach of their IT security system in the last six months, which is of much concern,” he added.
