The private sector in Poland is increasingly becoming a direct or indirect target of cyberattacks and is bearing huge economic losses.

As Michał Owczarek reports, cybersecurity in business is on the agenda of a Wednesday conference in Kraków.

“Business people are particularly targeted,” said Stanisław Bisztyga, who heads the conference.

“Data shows that every fourth Polish company has reported a breach of their IT security system in the last six months, which is of much concern,” he added.
