A good start has been made for Polish business at the Hannover Messe, with a number of companies signing big contracts with German partners.

Sławek Szefs reports that Poland’s key partner status at the biggest industrial fair in Europe should be highly valued.

"It's a good thing this is happening right now because given the strained [political] relations, it may turn out that common sense shall prevail and, appreciating the benefits, everyone will start cooperating," observed Małgorzata Bonikowska, an expert from the Warsaw-based Center for International Relations.
