One in three Polish kids are overweight: WHO
One in three Polish eight-year-olds are overweight or obese, according to research by the World Health Organisation (WHO) under its Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative.

The fourth edition of the European project looking at the progress of the obesity epidemic among children aged six to nine showed Poland is roughly in the middle of the ranking, and there is real cause for concern. Elzbieta Krajewska reports.
