At the EU summit in Brussels last week, British Prime Minister Theresa May presented London's proposals for defining the rights of Union citizens in the UK after Brexit.

These were received by member country leaders without any particular enthusiasm nor disapproval, and mostly described as “too general”.

Sławek Szefs reports on Warsaw’s point of view regarding the issue.

“For Poland, the rights of EU citizens who will be staying on UK territory and ways of applying relevant [European] laws is an issue which will be championed,” said Polish PM Beata Szydło.
