Sławek Szefs reports that the competition which starts in Poland on Thursday will bring together some 3,500 athletes to compete in 31 disciplines of non-Olympic sports.
Many of the participating teams have had atypical requests.
"The American Football Federation requested extra-large-sized beds so its tall and well-framed players fit and all the martial arts federations have asked for additional scales in the places where they will be quartered,” Kacper Cecota from the Wrocław World Games organising committee told Polish Radio.
