Israeli student steals from Auschwitz
An Israeli art student has admitted in local media to stealing artefacts from the Auschwitz Museum to use in her work at the Jerusalem University.

As Michał Owczarek reports, the museum notified Polish prosecutors who are to investigate if the materials were originals from the site.
“After learning this from Israeli press, we immediately reported the case to the prosecutor’s office and also informed the Israeli embassy about it,” said the museum’s press officer Paweł Sawicki.
