The Georgian authorities have sent an inquiry to Warsaw to find out whether former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili is staying in Poland.
As Michał Owczarek reports, Tbilisi has called on Warsaw to extradite Saakashvili, who arrived in Warsaw from the United States on August 3, according to media reports.
“We have received a request from Georgia’s Justice Ministry to establish whether Mikheil Saakashvili is within the territory of this country... the police and the border service have already been instructed to start an inquiry,” said Łukasz Łapczyński, spokesman for the Warsaw district prosecutor’s office
