High hurdles, high spirits
Damian Czykier is a Polish athlete specialising in the high hurdles. He came fourth at the 2015 Summer Universiade and the 2016 European Championships.
He also reached the semi-finals during the recent Track and Field World Championships in London - an event at which Poland was represented by a 51-strong team and which brought Poland two gold, two silver and four bronze medals.
Speaking in London to Polish Radio correspondent Adam Dąbrowski, Damian Czykier recalled the atmosphere of the event and praised both Polish and British fans who cheered the athletes there.
