In an interview for Radio Poland, Paweł Sawicki of the Auschwitz Memorial Museum's Press Bureau says that it’s extremely difficult to tell the story of Auschwitz outside the context of the original site. The exhibition, which will first go to Madrid at the end of the year, consists of 600 original objects, most of them from the Auschwitz Memorial Museum. “Twenty institutions are involved in what is a very difficult undertaking’, he says.
