New gov’t proposals amid doctors’ protest in Poland
Healthcare expenditure in Poland will increase to 6 percent of GDP by 2025 under legislation approved by a key government committee.

The increase in health spending will take place gradually, beginning next year.
The move is the Polish government's response to an ongoing protest by medical professionals.
"This is a breakthrough as the new bill guarantees there will be more money dedicated to healthcare each year," Poland's Health Minister Konstanty Radziwiłł has said.
