Polish start-ups are becoming increasingly active, responding not only to domestic but also foreign opportunities.

Sławek Szefs reports that chances for such new ventures have come from Israel and the United States.
One of the latest examples is an agreement between the Lubelskie province in eastern Poland and the American state of Nevada to help Polish start-ups in establishing their position on the US market.
“The best ideas come from small places,” said Brian Sandoval, the Republican governor of Nevada, after the deal was signed.
