Georgia has long been working towards EU and NATO membership.

Sławek Szefs reports that Poland has been keenly following these efforts and continuously rendering its support for the cause championed by Tbilisi on the international scene.

"It is possible that cooperation within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative may serve as one of the paths for countries of the Eastern Partnership [such as Georgia] to move closer to EU membership,” Duda said at a press conference on Wednesday.
