Sławek Szefs reports that it presents to the wide public, for the first time, documents of the clandestine Oneg Shabbat group.

The collection, also known as the Ringelblum Archive, describes life in the wartime Jewish ghetto set up by German Nazis in the occupied Polish capital.

"What you will find is a commonly felt need to share fears and apprehension, the need to leave something for posterity, the hope of staying in the memory of one's nearest, of guarding them, as well as simply experiencing happiness and accomplishment. Each of the contributors left a small part of themselves in this archive,” said Anna Duńczyk-Szulc, one of the co-curators of the exhibition.
