Polish music at Britain’s Huddersfield festival

Polish music and the legacy of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio have featured prominently at a contemporary music festival in Huddersfield in the UK.

The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival is a 10-day annual international event incorporating concerts, music-theatre, dance, multimedia, talks and film.

It is one of Europe’s most important platforms for new music, and this year, the festival is spotlighting Polish music, in particular the story of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio, which operated from 1957 to 2004.
