Poland and Illinois celebrate military partnership

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner and US Ambassador to Poland Paul Jones on Monday met Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak in Warsaw to mark 25 years since Poland’s army signed a deal with Illinois’ National Guard.

The Illinois governor said that Poland’s Armed Forces Day would also be celebrated in the US state.
