Unconventional readings of the Bard's work at Shakespeare Festival in Poland
Final preparations are underway in the coastal city of Gdańsk ahead of the 22nd edition of the International Shakespeare Festival, which starts later this month.

Since its beginnings back in 1993, the festival has evolved into one of the most recognised events devoted to the Bard from Stratford, reviving a 17th-century tradition, when actors from England would come to Gdańsk to put on Shakespeare's plays.
