Polish ‘Independence Cruise’ reaches Cape Town
Poland's largest tall ship Dar Młodzieży is expected to call at the South African port of Cape Town on Wednesday as part of its “Independence Cruise.”

In May, the ship set sail on a voyage around the world aiming to promote Poland as the country celebrates 100 years of independence.
“Polish youth are going to meet their South African peers, and they are going to promote Poland at a special presentation,” cruise coordinator Monika Mostowska said. “There’s going to be a dance show, and I know of some traditional Polish outfits being carried in the luggage to stage our national dance, the polonaise, and other folk dances.”
