Polish gas giant to tap Norway deposits
State-run Polish gas firm PGNiG has agreed to purchase a multi-million dollar stake in a Norwegian gas field amid efforts to diversify supplies.

Production is expected to last for 20 years.
“Gas production will start in 2024 and we expect it to be half a billion cubic metres annually, which means that, compared to today, we will double our gas extraction in Norway,” PGNiG deputy CEO Maciej Woźniak said.
