The law initially banned trade on two Sundays per month, rising to three Sundays a month this year and finally all Sundays from 2020, with seven exceptions before the Easter and Christmas holidays. The Warsaw Enterprise Institute has researched the ban's economic effects and the findings caused it to appeal to the government to either abandon or re-write the law.
Danuta Isler spoke to the Institute's Chairman, Tomasz Wróblewski.
