This week Poland paid homage to the Jewish heroes who fought the Nazis in occupied Warsaw during the Ghetto uprising which took place 69 years ago.
Also, the March of the Living, a worldwide Jewish educational event in which young Jewish people from Israel and elsewhere march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, also took place.
The March of the living is a part of an educational program about the Holocaust, Jewish heritage in Europe, and the role of Israel in modern Jewish life that has been operating since 1988. Hagay Hacohen reports.
