The TVN24 news station reported on Sunday morning that the man has pleaded guilty as charged.
It is understood that the arrested man had contact with four men that police detained earlier this week.
Twenty two institutions received emails on Tuesday informing of bombs planted at the Attorney Generals office in the capital, as well as prosecutors offices and hospitals across Poland.
No explosives were found.
“Police arrested a man at Pyrzowice [Katowice] airport in the morning, who is suspected of making the series of false bomb alerts that took place on Tuesday,” said spokesman at Polish HQ in Warsaw Krzysztof Hajdas on Saturday.
Over 2,000 had to be evacuated from their work premises as a result and the emails sparked off a massive police operation to catch those responsible.
Police say the man arrested on Saturday morning has been issued with an arrest warrant containing 36 separate charges.
If found guilty the man faces up to eight years in prison. (pg)
