Masked men rob Warsaw bank

Two masked men robbed a bank in Warsaw's Pruszków district on Thursday, police have confirmed.

The incident took place shortly before 6 pm at a branch of Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości (BPS).

According to police, the intruders terrorised staff, forcing employees to hand over cash.

It has been claimed that the thieves made off with about PLN 100,000 (EUR 237,089).

Police have confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

The culprits could serve twelve years in prison if apprehended. (nh)
