Poles celebrate Mother's Day

Tuesday 26 May marked Mother’s Day in Poland, with a vast majority of Poles planning a simple gesture towards their mothers.

Pollster CBOS has conducted a survey asking Poles what they will do for their mothers on Mother’s Day, which in Poland falls on 26 May. As many as 73 percent plan to do something on this day, with older Poles planning visits to cemeteries and praying for their loved ones. (rg)
