The Polish Government Protection Bureau told the niezalezna.pl website that the man who was operating the drone had arrived at the site in a Porsche car.

The bureau also said that there was another Russian man in the car, and that the vehicle was checked for explosives.

Police spokesman Mariusz Mrozek said that the Russian could face up to five years in prison for violation of Polish aviation regulations.

Poland’s Internal Security Agency is also investigating the incident, niezalezna.pl reported.
