In his address, President Andrzej Duda sent particular wishes to Poles living abroad that they may celebrate Easter, and to the lonely and needy, that the holiday brings them joy and hope.

Meanwhile, in her own message on Twitter, Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło wished that harmony and solidarity among Poles be built during Easter.

“Let us think joyously that we have so much … in common, the gift of being together and community, the feeling that Poland is a safe place in Europe and gives us a guarantee of stability, development and seeing through our plans and aspirations,” she said. (vb)
