Unexploded WWII bomb found in Warsaw

Sappers were called in to remove an unexploded bomb dating from World War II found by workmen in Warsaw on Friday morning.

The capital’s Rondo Daszyńskiego and Rondo ONZ metro stations were closed while streets near the site were sealed off to traffic after the device was found in Warsaw’s Wola district.

The metro stations and streets were reopened after army sappers took the device away, police said.
