The budget was increased from PLN 107 billion to PLN 135 billion, due to increased road investments planned in eastern Poland.
The ministry of infrastructure, which applied for the funds, said in a statement that a detailed list of investments included in the National Road Construction Programme will be presented by the end of this year.
The programme envisions some 2,800 km of roads to be built. (tf/rg)
